3 Day Refresh Here I Come! |
So as I said in my last post I went out of town last weekend for a wedding and while I tried my best to stay somewhat on track, obviously there were some more snacking and drinking than I usually partake in! I felt pretty blah and bloated when I got home, so to kick my booty back into gear I decided to do the 3 Day Refresh on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
What is the Refresh exactly? It's essentially a cleanse. But what is nice about this product is, unlike things like juice cleanses, you are still getting all the nutrition your body needs. So its a much healthier alternative!
What does a day in the cleanse look like? You drink your Shakeology in the morning with a serving of the fruit that it lists in the book for breakfast. For you mid morning snack you drink your fiber drink with water. Lunch is the Vanilla Fresh shake with a serving of fruit, veggies, and a healthy fat. You get another snack in the afternoon of a veggie and healthy fat. Dinner is another Vanilla Fresh shake with a dinner recipe that you choose from the book. You can drink green tea, but you are supposed to drink A BUNCH of water throughout the day to help with the fiber! You are cutting out all processed foods, canned fruits veggies, and dairy.

The most popular question I get about this product is am I going to LIVE in the bathroom the whole time? The answer is absolutely not! The only think you could possibly experience is feeling a little fuller or gas in your tummy from all the extra fiber, just make sure to drink a ton of water and it shouldn't be a problem! It's only for 3 days!

I'm pretty happy with those! Best part, I feel like I'm completely on track again! I didn't even really miss the food I wasn't eating I was actually very surprised! So today I'll just continue with my clean eating menu! Even better than that, you can totally still workout on the Refresh, I did TurboFire which is a ton of cardio and I felt completely fine!
You can do the Refresh once a month or any time you need to get back on track or have a event to go to, OR to get into that small little Halloween costume you have picked out!! Its a fast way to cleanse out your body and drop a few pounds the healthy way!
